Looking for the next fun thing to do with your best friend, partner, or latest situationship? Come get messy at Mac Clay.

This is a beginner friendly hang-out… but obviously its equally about impressing each other and having fun. Think of this as free-form (and guided) play with clay – whether you want to make a face mask or jump on the wheel. We know what it takes to make you look good. Add in music and vibes — what more could you ask for? Singles night coming soon.

If there’s something that you’d like to keep at the end of the class, we can finish and fire the piece for an additional fee.

Mac Clay is the first ceramic studio solely focused on classes, workshops and events in McMinnville. We believe in strengthening community by stoking conversations and deepening understanding of ceramic practice — whether wheel throwing technique, pinch pots, Instagram trends or pre-historic forms. Our mission is to serve both the beginner and advanced studio potter in a safe, vibrant environment.

But there’s more: we don’t only make beautiful things; we explore new dimensions of ourselves and how we relate to each other. Mac Clay is honored to enter a conversation with the Yamhill County area. So follow along as we kick off a series of events that introduce ourselves while recentering a craft that developed lock-step with humanity itself.
