As we enter the season of cold days and long nights, we welcome you to book time in our studio for a Seasonal Candelabras Workshop. This is a hands-on opportunity to craft the light that guides you through the darker seasons. Over two to three hours we will guide you through crafting candle holders out of clay. Yes – we will have warm cider available, and we will be burning locally made beeswax candles. Yes! – the studio will be warm and cozy. YES! We want you to join us for a day of fun creativity that will keep on giving back to you.

You can follow your own creative spirit, and we will be ready to guide you where you want to go: traditional or modern menorahs, multi-armed candelabras, or a set of individual candlesticks and votives are all on the table. Whether your design is rooted in tradition or entirely your own invention, Misha will help you translate your ideas into this dimension. We will use a combination of handbuilding and colorful surface design techniques to bring to life something that reflects who you are and what you love this

After the class, we will fire your pieces and notify you when they are ready to pick up.

Mac Clay is the first ceramic studio solely focused on classes, workshops and events in McMinnville. Our mission is to serve both the beginner and advanced studio potter in a safe, vibrant environment.

But there’s more: we don’t only make beautiful things; we explore new dimensions of ourselves and how we relate to each other. Mac Clay is honored to enter a conversation with the Yamhill County area. So follow along as we kick off a series of events that introduce ourselves while recentering a craft that developed lock-step with humanity itself.
